Let's get this straight. Just because you are going on a blind date does not make you a desperate person. As a matter of fact if you are smart you will learn a little bit about your blind date before you go on it.

2. Pick up the phone and make a quick call to introduce yourself. Or even send an email and get a little conversation going back and forth. Your blind date is becoming a little less blind now. You may even arouse the excitement level a little bit.
3. Stay casual yet presentable. No business suits yet, no gym clothes either. You are making a first impression and you do not get a second chance to do it.
4. Go somewhere fun like the park or an art show. Keep it light and enjoyable. If you are going on a double date you may not have any input on this, but try to encourage it if you can.
Blind dates are usually set up by a well meaning person and many times they do not work out. By following these tips you may beat the odds and be thanking them tomorrow.
